Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has revealed that he would like striker Luis Suarez to remain at the club.
Suarez has stated his desire to leave Anfield over the summer, with Real Madrid looking a possible destination, but Lucas believes that it would be a "great loss" to the Merseyside club if the Uruguay forward were sold.
Lucas told Radio Grenal: "Luis Suarez has influenced many matches for us, and is a player, if he leaves, who would be a great loss."
The former Ajax striker has scored 51 goals in 96 appearances during his two-and-a-half-year spell at Liverpool.
