Nice have reportedly identified Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet as a potential target for the January transfer window.
Mignolet is in his sixth campaign at the Merseyside giants, but the Belgium international has been restricted to just one appearance in the EFL Cup since the start of this season.
According to The Sun, that could lead to an offer from Nice as boss Patrick Vieira is said to be keen on strengthening his options between the sticks.
Nice have only conceded 14 goals from their 12 matches in Ligue 1, but it appears that Vieira is not satisfied with the contributions of Walter Benitez and Yoan Cardinale.
Mignolet still has just under two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will not consider parting ways with the 30-year-old unless he finds a suitable replacement.
