Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that Rodrygo remains "very important" to Real Madrid amid interest from Manchester City and Liverpool.
Rodrygo has seen his future become the subject of much speculation despite having a contract until the summer of 2028.
Kylian Mbappe's imminent arrival has led to some doubts as to whether Rodrygo will have a place in the starting lineup next season.
Ancelotti could decide to utilise Mbappe and Vinicius Junior in a forward pairing, or switch to a front three to accommodate Rodrygo.

Ancelotti comments on Rodrygo's importance
The Brazilian appeared to fuel the rumours when he admitted "anything can happen" in response to a question about his Real Madrid future.
Despite being linked with a Premier League move, Rodrygo has since clarified his earlier comments, stating that his remarks were "taken out of context".
Nevertheless, Liverpool are believed to be showing an interest, while Man City are considering a summer move for the 23-year-old.
Ancelotti has said that he has "no doubts" about Rodrygo's importance when asked about the player's situation ahead of Saturday's Champions League final.
"Rodrygo is going to give it all [on Saturday], he's a very important piece for us," Ancelotti told reporters in his pre-match press conference. "He has been very important, he is, and he will be in the future, we have no doubt about that whatsoever."
