Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that he is working to bring in "one or two" more players this month.
The Merseyside outfit have acquired the services of Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea for £12m, but the Northern Irishman admits that the team 'needs' more depth.
"We hope to do some business between now and the end of the month," Sky Sports News quotes Rodgers as saying. "The owners have been brilliant and supporting.
"We know we still need one or two additions more. The club is doing everything it possible can to assist me in that.
"If we can, great. If not, we'll have to review it again in the summer."
The Reds have been linked with Inter Milan midfielder Philippe Coutinho and Blackpool winger Thomas Ince.
