Luis Suarez has suggested that he will stay at Liverpool even if they fail to secure Champions League qualification this season.
The 27-year-old Uruguayan striker recently signed a new long-term contract with the Merseysiders.
Despite reports that his future at Anfield depends on the team finishing in the top four, Suarez has revealed that he is likely to remain at the club regardless of their league position.
"I signed my new contract because I'm very happy here and I want to stay where I'm enjoying football and life," he told FourFourTwo. "Playing in the Champions League isn't dependent on that."
Suarez has scored 24 goals in 27 games for Liverpool so far this season.
