Luis Suarez in talks with Liverpool over new two-year deal?

Luis Suarez will reportedly hold talks with Liverpool about possibly signing a new two-year deal at Anfield.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez could reportedly put pen to paper on a fresh two-year contract on Merseyside, despite his public claims that he wants to leave Anfield.

Conflicting reports have claimed this week that the Uruguay international decided to perform a U-turn and remain at Anfield due to the "affection" of the fans, but a news agency in Japan stated that Suarez denied making such comments.

Despite the confusion, it is understood that Suarez's agent Pere Guardiola will hold talks with Liverpool officials regarding a new two-year deal with improved terms, according to the Daily Star.

Liverpool have been adamant that the controversial striker is not for sale following two rejected bids from Arsenal, one offer thought to be worth £40,000,001.
