Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly lining up a shock swoop for Juventus midfielder and former Arsenal man Aaron Ramsey.
The Wales international has blown hot and cold in Turin since his arrival in 2019, struggling to nail down a regular spot in the first XI and battling several injuries over the past couple of years.
Ramsey's deal at the Allianz Stadium does not expire until 2023, but given his standing as a squad rotation player in Andrea Pirlo's ranks, the Old Lady are thought to be open to a sale this summer.
Now, Tuttomercato claims that Tottenham are the latest club to enter the race for Ramsey's signature, but they are not the only Premier League club hoping to entice the Welshman back to Britain.
The report also states that Merseyside giants Liverpool and Everton are keeping a close eye on the situation, with the former ready to make a move if Georginio Wijnaldum leaves at the end of the season.
However, Ramsey's £400k-a-week wage demands could prove to be a stumbling block as Juve look to offload him, and the 30-year-old would almost certainly have to take a significant pay cut at a new club.
