Macarthur ended a four-game run without a victory last weekend, and they will now be looking to put together consecutive victories on Saturday when they host Newcastle Jets.

The visitors are currently sat just one place above their opponents in the A-League table, however, it is only goal difference separating them right now.

We say: Macarthur 1-1 Newcastle Jets

Newcastle Jets have stronger form as of late, and that is something that will bring them a lot of momentum into this match.

However, the recent win that Macarthur picked up and the fact that the visitors struggle for goals away from home could lead to a draw taking place.

Sydney FC vs. Brisbane Roar (Saturday, 6.00am)

After a victory on derby day last weekend Sydney FC will be pushing to continue their recent impressive form when they host Brisbane Roar.

The visitors are currently 10th in the A-League table, and are without a win in their previous six outings heading into this one.

Brisbane Roar are heading into this game in very poor form, and considering they are struggling to score goals this season it might be tough to change that.

Sydney FC have won three consecutive matches previously, and adding a fourth to that run would not be a shock.

It is derby day in the A-League this Saturday as Melbourne Victory welcome their local rivals Melbourne City in what is a crucial game for both teams.

They are at the complete opposite ends of the league table right now with the hosts sitting bottom while the visitors are the current league leaders, making this important for different reasons.

Melbourne Victory are going through a tough season at the moment, and coming up against the current league leaders could see that continue.
