Patrick Ebert brace helps Real Valladolid beat Mallorca

Real Valladolid move into the top half of the La Liga table thanks to a 3-1 win over Mallorca at Estadio Jose Zorrilla.

Real Valladolid moved into the top half of the La Liga table this afternoon after beating Mallorca 3-1 at Estadio Jose Zorrilla.

Patrick Ebert fired the hosts ahead from long range on 21 minutes, before Victor Casadesus levelled the match with a powerful header 16 minutes later.

Valladolid were by far the better side after half time and their dominance was finally rewarded two minutes from time when Oscar Gonzalez scored his eighth goal of the season.

Ebert then put the result beyond doubt when he grabbed his second of the night in stoppage time.
