Pep Guardiola challenges Bayern Munich to make history

Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola calls on his team to defeat Manchester City to end the Champions League group stage with a 100% winning record.

Pep Guardiola has urged his Bayern Munich players to win their final Champions League group encounter against Manchester City.

The holders have never previously won all six of their group fixtures, but they will achieve that feat by taking maximum points against the Premier League visitors at the Allianz Arena tomorrow night.

"We have to keep the positive tension high. We want 18 points from the group stage for the first time in our history. That's a good target," Guardiola told reporters.

Bayern won 3-1 when the two teams met at the Etihad Stadium in early October.
