Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for their FA Cup quarter-final clash with Everton on Saturday.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has the luxury of a fully-fit squad for Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final showdown with Everton at Goodison Park.

Nathan Ake was the last player to return from injury and was given the green light to make the bench against Borussia Monchengladbach in midweek, but whether Guardiola is ready to start him yet remains to be seen.

There could be some changes in defence either way, as Aymeric Laporte is due a recall at centre-back, while Oleksandr Zinchenko could return at left-back despite a minor disagreement with Guardiola over City's quadruple chances.

Guardiola may also be tempted to start Ederson in between the sticks against a fellow Premier League side at this stage of the tournament, but Zack Steffen will hope to continue in goal for now.

Rodri was hauled off against Monchengladbach after 63 minutes with the tie already wrapped up, so the Spaniard should start once again alongside Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne in the engine room.

Guardiola did not need a recognised striker on the field to get the job done in the Champions League, but Sergio Aguero should be deemed ready to start another game, although Gabriel Jesus is the leading scorer in this fixture with seven goals and could also come into his manager's thinking.

Out wide, Ferran Torres is in with a chance of featuring on the right flank, while Raheem Sterling may replace Phil Foden on the left after he brushed off rumours of a row with Guardiola.

Manchester City possible starting lineup:
Steffen; Cancelo, Dias, Laporte, Zinchenko; Rodri, Gundogan, De Bruyne; Torres, Aguero, Sterling
