Pep Guardiola has refused to comment on allegations from Yaya Toure which accused the Manchester City manager of having an agenda against African players.

The Ivorian midfielder gave an explosive interview to France Football on Monday as he claimed to break "the Guardiola myth".

As well as suggesting that Guardiola treated African players differently, Toure accused the Spaniard of spoiling his final season at the Etihad Stadium.

The former Barcelona manager, however, stressed that he would not be replying to the allegations.

"I'm not going to comment on those comments," Guardiola told journalists at a golf competition in Catalonia, as reported by the Manchester Evening News. "I have nothing to say."

Toure joined City from Barcelona in 2010, and spent eight years in Manchester before leaving the club at the end of last season.
