John Guidetti has said that he is ready to play a greater role for Stoke City after making his first-team debut.
The Manchester City striker joined the Potters on loan for the remainder of the season during the January transfer window, and made his first appearance for the side in their midweek draw with Swansea City.
The 21-year-old told the club's website: "I enjoyed it a lot, it was a moment that I have been waiting for to come on and play in front of those incredible supporters for the first time.
"I've been working hard in training since I came here and if I continue to work hard and play well when I am given the opportunity to do, so then hopefully I can play more minutes.
"I have absolutely 100% trust in the manager and in the team, and I know that whatever the manager's decision is, it is always going to be in the best interests of the club. I'm desperate to do well here and to help the club win as many matches as possible. I'm blessed to be here, I'm very happy, what can I say!"
Stoke's next game is against Guidetti's parent club next weekend.
