Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has reportedly suffered an ankle injury.
The 25-year-old is said to have sustained the complaint during a collision with Manchester United defender Chris Smalling on Monday evening.
His ankle swelled up overnight and he has since been ordered by City's medical staff to keep the joint elevated when possible following extensive ice treatment, according to Goal.com.
The problem is believed to have prevented Hart from taking part in training with his teammates earlier today.
However, reports have claimed that the keeper is determined to feature in Sunday's Premier League trip to Newcastle United.
