Carlos Tevez's lawyer is adamant that the former Manchester City forward will not break any rules regarding his community service order, despite his departure to Juventus.

Lawyer Gwyn Lewis has insisted that Juventus-bound forward Carlos Tevez will not break any rules regarding his community service order.

It is understood that the 29-year-old, who signed for the Serie A champions from Manchester City on Wednesday, has not yet completed the 250 hours of community service that he received in April for driving offences.

Tevez is due to arrive in Turin for pre-season training in two weeks, but he will not be able to complete his community service before then, as Probation Service guidelines limit people to carrying out a maximum of 40 hours per week.

In a statement, Mr Lewis, who works for Burton Copeland, said: "No rules or regulations have been broken and we are acting on behalf of Mr Tevez to ensure that this continues to be the case."

In addition to his community service, Tevez was banned from driving for six months and fined £1,000 in April, after admitting to driving while disqualified and without insurance.
