Wayne Rooney still eyes a move away from Manchester United?

Wayne Rooney is reportedly committed to leaving Manchester United, despite reports that he could stay at Old Trafford.

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has reportedly not changed his mind about leaving Old Trafford this summer.

It had been reported that he England international, who made his intentions known to Sir Alex Ferguson towards the end of the season that he wanted a way out, would stay at the club following the arrival of new manager David Moyes.

Despite these suggestions, it is understood that Rooney still wants to leave the club, prompting Arsenal to prepare the first bid for the £25m-rated striker, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Chelsea are also thought to be monitoring the situation, as are Manchester City, but United have reportedly ruled out any possibility of Rooney being sold to their local rivals.
