Carlos Tevez has revealed that Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini had no issues with the striker's move to Juventus.
The Argentina international completed his switch to Turin yesterday for a reported £10m fee.
"I spoke to Manuel Pellegrini as soon as he arrived at City," BBC Sport quotes Tevez as saying. "I told him I considered my time at the club to be over.
"He said that was fine by him and there weren't any problems in allowing me to leave. I would like to thank City and all their fans for the four years spent together."
Tevez's former City teammate Gareth Barry has admitted that he is "sad" to see the frontman leave.
