Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has admitted that he could be sacked at the end of the season should his side fail to win any silverware.
The English champions sit 13 points adrift of rivals Manchester United in the Premier League table who will win the title should they beat Aston Villa on Monday night.
Despite still being in with a chance of winning the FA Cup this year, Mancini feels that failure in the league and in Europe has put his job security in a dangerous position.
"I'm not happy because I like to win the championship," Mancini told The Guardian. "This was our target. I'm not happy with the season because I want always the maximum.
"But we have another chance to win the FA Cup and I think the FA Cup is important. And we can be in second position.
"If that is not good enough, then every manager should be sacked."
City face Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup final next month.
