Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz has ruled out a return to the Premier League when his contract with the club expires at the end of this season.
Santa Cruz, who is currently on loan at La Liga side Malaga, joined City for £17.5m in 2009 when Mark Hughes was in charge but has found himself surplus to requirements under Roberto Mancini.
The Paraguay international was shipped out on loan to Blackburn Rovers and Real Betis before his latest move to Malaga, and he does not foresee a future for himself in the English game.
"I do not see myself going back to the Premier League because my family are very settled here and I do not want to keep bringing my children back and forth [between England and Spain]," Santa Cruz told the BBC.
"I want something stable for my family for the next few years. I would consider moving back to South America - something else I would love to do in the future."
Santa Cruz scored just four goals in 24 appearances for City.
