Luciano Vietto hoping to emulate Sergio Aguero

Villarreal forward Luciano Vietto welcomes comparisons with Manchester City's Sergio Aguero.

Villarreal striker Luciano Vietto has revealed that he is hopeful of emulating the success enjoyed by Manchester City's Sergio Aguero.

Vietto has been compared to a young Aguero in various quarters this season, and the Argentine has said that it would make him "very happy" to become 'half as good' as the City forward.

"It's incredible that they compare me to those types of players. I hope I can become half of the player Kun Aguero is," Inside Spanish Football quotes Vietto as saying.

"He's a great player and shows it every day. As they say, I hope I can be a player like him. That'd make me very happy."

Vietto joined Villarreal from Racing Club in the summer and has netted 12 goals in 23 games for the Yellow Submarine.
