Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure will reportedly take a break from international football next season to focus on domestic duties with Manchester City.
The 28-year-old was thought to be frustrated with Les Elephants coach Francois Zahoui for not allowing him to delay his participation in January's Africa Cup of Nations.
Toure is now hoping to improve his fitness next season by temporarily stepping down from the international stage, according to Goal.com.
The former Barcelona player has made 67 appearances for his country following his debut in 2004.
