Sergio Aguero: 'I will leave Manchester City in 2019'

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero reveals that he will leave his current employers in the summer of 2019 to return to boyhood club Independiente.

Sergio Aguero has revealed that he plans to leave Manchester City in 2019 and return to 'the club of his heart' Independiente.

The Argentine international began his professional career with Independiente and scored 23 times for the club, before joining Atletico Madrid in 2006.

As it stands, the 27-year-old is contracted to Man City until 2019, but he has said that he will not be signing a new deal as he eyes a return to Argentina.

"I have always said that I want to return to Independiente and I will do just that. I will return to Independiente when my contract with City expires," Aguero told So Foot. "I do not want to make my comeback when I am too old. If everything goes well, I will return to the club of my heart at the age of 31."

Aguero has scored 116 times in 176 games for Man City since making the move from Atletico in the summer of 2011.
