Arsenal are reportedly preparing a surprise swoop for Manchester City attacker Jesus Navas in the January transfer window.
The Gunners have been crippled by injury woes in recent weeks and are expected to be without Alexis Sanchez for the next month due to a hamstring problem.
Theo Walcott and Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain have also had their injury concerns this season, leading to suggestions that head coach Arsene Wenger will seek reinforcements at the start of 2016.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Wenger is considering a move for Navas, despite the Spaniard being a firm favourite of Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini.
The 30-year-old, who has started nine Premier League games this season, moved to England from Sevilla in the summer of 2013.
