West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke admits that he is trying to sign Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair.

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has admitted that he is interested in signing Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair.

The 24-year-old is expected to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer after failing to make an impact since his move from Swansea City last summer.

"We've made an enquiry to Manchester City," Clarke told the Birmingham Mail. "There are discussions between the two clubs but beyond that there is nothing to report."

West Brom start the new Premier League season at home to Southampton on Saturday.
