Leicester City have reportedly informed Manchester City that they are only interested in a straight cash deal for winger Riyad Mahrez.
The Citizens have been left frustrated in their pursuit of the Algeria international, having had a player-plus-cash offer knocked back in January.
Patrick Roberts was mooted as a possible makeweight in any transfer, but The Mirror reports that the Foxes are no longer interested in the Man City starlet.
Leicester have an agreement in place with Norwich City for sought-after midfielder James Maddison, and they are therefore after cash - and not a direct replacement - for wantaway Mahrez.
Mahrez, who has 39 goals and 27 assists in 139 Premier League outings, is understood to be valued at around £75m by Leicester.
