Manchester City are allegedly confident that Leroy Sane will reject any opportunity to sign for Bayern Munich.

Manchester City have allegedly been left encouraged that Leroy Sane will remain at the Etihad Stadium.

Sane has enjoyed a successful three-year spell at the Etihad Stadium, but the winger is yet to sign an extension to his contract, which expires in 2021.

Bayern Munich are known to be monitoring the situation as they look to replace Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, who have both left the Allianz Arena.

However, The Mirror suggests that City have no concerns regarding the future of the 23-year-old after his recent return to pre-season training.

The Germany international is said to have suggested that he has no plans to make the switch to the Bundesliga champions in the near future.

Nevertheless, it remains unclear whether Sane is prepared to sign a new long-term deal at the Premier League giants.
