Manchester City and Real Madrid have reportedly identified Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans as a potential addition ahead of next summer.
The 24-year-old has established himself as a key player at the King Power Stadium, making a total of 99 appearances in the Premier League since he initially joined on loan in January 2019.
However, the Belgium international has just over 18 months remaining on his contract, and there is little chance of the playmaker extending his deal with the Foxes.
According to Fichajes, Man City and Real are expected to be in the running when Leicester likely start considering bids for his signature at the end of the season.
Unless Leicester claim Champions League football against the odds, they will almost certainly part ways with Tielemans for a cut-price fee.
While both City and Real are well stocked with midfield options, the age, quality and potential of Tielemans make him an ideal target at a time when they may want to lower the average age in the centre of the pitch.
