Manchester City have denied Carlos Tevez a return to his former club Corinthians.
Roberto Mancini’s club has turned down the £35m offer for the £50m-valued player, according to Sky Sports News.
The 27-year-old played for the Sao Paulo outfit in 2005 and 2006 before he moved to England to play for West Ham.
Tevez had apparently been keen to make the move, having repeatedly said that he wants to leave the UK in order to be closer to his family in Argentina.
The Blues captain has three years to run on his contract at Eastlands.
