Manchester City 'want Paris Saint-Germain youngster Edouard Michut'

Paris Saint-Germain youngster Edouard Michut emerges as a transfer target for Manchester City, according to a report.

Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain youngster Edouard Michut.

The 16-year-old, who largely operates as an attacking midfielder, has been likened to first-team star Marco Verratti by sections of the French media.

According to Sky Sports News, City are keen on a swoop for the teenager, although the Premier League champions are likely to face competition from Barcelona should they make a move.

Michut, who has been capped at Under-16 level by France, largely turns out for PSG's Under-17 side but has also been involved with their Under-19s.

The Citizens are also said to be monitoring the performances of Borussia Dortmund's 16-year-old attacker Giovanni Reyna as they plan for the future.
