Samir Nasri unsure over Manchester City future

Samir Nasri admits that he is unsure over his Manchester City future, insisting that he will leave if ever deemed surplus to requirements.

Samir Nasri has said that he will 'pack his bags' and leave Manchester City if he is deemed surplus to requirements.

Last month, the Frenchman claimed that all of his City teammates were in danger of being axed should they fail to guide the club into the last 16 of the Champions League.

Nasri, who joined the Sky Blues for £25m from Arsenal in 2011, has established himself as a regular fixture in Manuel Pellegrini's first XI after starting eight of his 10 Premier League outings this season.

However, the 27-year-old admits that he is unsure over his long-term stay at Eastlands - despite signing a five-year contract extension in the summer.

"I do not know if I will leave the club," Nasri, who is contracted to the club until 2019, told beIN Sport. "If they come to me and they tell me to pack my bags, I will leave."

City face Roma at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow night knowing that victory would see them progress into the knockout phase of the Champions League.

Nasri has helped the club win two Premier League titles in his three-year stint at the Etihad Stadium thus far.
