Roma boss predicts Daniele De Rossi stay

Roma coach Zdenek Zeman says he is "convinced" that midfielder Daniele De Rossi will remain at the club this summer, despite reported interest from Manchester City.

Roma coach Zdenek Zeman has said that he expects midfielder Daniele De Rossi to remain at Stadio Olimpico this summer.

The 29-year-old midfielder is reportedly wanted by Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini, but Zeman does not think that a move is likely.

"I am convinced that De Rossi stays with us," said Zeman. "He is very important for us and the club has not asked me anything about him. I think he will remain."

De Rossi is expected to announce his decision to stay with Roma at a press conference later today.
