Samir Nasri has claimed that Manchester City do not want to sell him in the summer transfer window.
A busy summer is expected for the club after they failed to defend the Premier League title, and Nasri has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium as Manuel Pellegrini and the City officials look to freshen up the squad.
However, the Frenchman is confident that he still has a role to play in the club's future after signing a new deal a year ago.
"I signed a five-year contract [last summer] and everybody at the club wants me to stay," the attacking midfielder told FourFourTwo.
"I had a lot of injuries and I want to take back the chance. But I will be in Manchester, having a great season and winning silverware - that's what's going to happen next year."
Nasri made 33 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring three goals.
