Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera says that he hopes to return to action "soon" after suffering an injury in his side's win over West Ham United.

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has said that he is hopeful of a quick return after suffering an injury in his side's 2-1 win over West Ham United.

The Spaniard was forced off with a back complaint during the second half of the match.

Writing on his official Twitter account, he said: "Three very important points! I hope my back is fine soon. Thanks for your messages!"

Ten-man United beat the Hammers thanks to goals from Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney.
