Manchester United winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been forced off during Armenia's international friendly with Czech Republic due to a knee injury.
The 27-year-old has so far been limited to substitute appearances in the Premier League following his summer arrival from Borussia Dortmund, playing a total of just 59 minutes this season.
However, his hopes of working his way into the starting XI have suffered a setback after he clashed knees with Czech Republic's Marek Suchy on international duty.
The Armenian limped off in the 38th minute of his side's eventual 3-0 defeat, although the injury is not thought to be too serious.
Mkhitaryan joined United in a £27m deal from Dortmund during the summer, but has so far been forced to watch on from the sidelines, with Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial being Jose Mourinho's preferred trio behind the striker.
