Jose Mourinho: 'Marouane Fellaini has bad back injury'

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho reveals that Marouane Fellaini sustained a "bad" back injury during his side's 1-0 win over Hull City.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that Marouane Fellaini sustained a "bad" back injury during his side's 1-0 win over Hull City this evening.

The Belgian played the full 90 minutes of his side's victory at the KCOM Stadium as Marcus Rashford's late strike saw United maintain their perfect start to the season.

However, Mourinho confirmed after the match that Fellaini could be set for a spell on the sidelines having picked up a muscular injury.

"Fellaini has a muscular injury in his back, and it's not good. I don't like to say [how long he will be out for], but it's bad," he told reporters.

Fellaini has started all three Premier League games for United since Mourinho took over.
