Luke Shaw: 'Still room for Manchester United to improve'

Manchester United full-back Luke Shaw insists that there is more to come from his side, despite them making it three wins from three in the Premier League.

Manchester United full-back Luke Shaw has claimed that his side are still not at their best despite maintaining their perfect start to the season this evening.

Marcus Rashford scored a 92nd-minute winner to beat Hull City 1-0 at the KCOM Stadium, making it three wins from three under Jose Mourinho in the Premier League.

However, Shaw believes that the team are still adapting to playing with each other and expects things to get even better throughout the course of the season.

"To be honest I didn't think it was going to be our day but we didn't stop and luckily Marcus Rashford was in the right position at the right time," he told reporters.

"In the last three games we haven't played our best, we are still gelling and improving. The signs are really positive.

"Last season the defence was very strong and we are building on that. We have a great partnership going, it is a strong team."

United will look to continue their winning streak when they host local rivals Manchester City after the international break.
