Raphael Varane steps up recovery from hamstring injury

Manchester United centre-back Raphael Varane provides an update on his ongoing recovery from a hamstring problem.

Manchester United centre-back Raphael Varane has posted an update on social media of his ongoing recovery from a hamstring problem.

The France international missed the Manchester derby before the international break due to the injury that he picked up against Atalanta BC in the Champions League at the start of the month.

Varane had only just recovered from a groin issue before suffering a hamstring strain, and he is not expected to be available for selection until the early stages of December.

The World Cup winner appears to be on the right track, though, taking to Instagram to provide an update on his recovery.

The 28-year-old has made nine appearances for the 20-time English champions during the 2021-22 campaign.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will be looking to bounce back from their 2-0 loss to Manchester City when they continue their Premier League campaign away to Watford on Saturday.
