Manchester United interim head coach Ralf Rangnick has said that Cristiano Ronaldo should be available for Saturday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa.
The Portugal international was absent against Villa in the FA Cup on Monday due to a minor hip problem, but the Red Devils still managed to progress to the fourth round with a 1-0 victory.
Speaking to reporters after the match, Rangnick said that Ronaldo should be available for selection against Steven Gerrard's side in the league on Saturday.
The 36-year-old has been in impressive scoring form for the Red Devils this season, netting 14 times in 21 appearances in all competitions.
Ronaldo has found the back of the net on eight occasions in 16 Premier League appearances, meanwhile, including one against Burnley in Man United's last league success at the end of December.
Harry Maguire and Phil Jones are also due to return for the 20-time English champions this weekend, but Paul Pogba remains sidelined due to a thigh problem.
