Patrice Evra expresses his delight at being part of the Manchester United side that claimed a victory away at Liverpool this afternoon.

Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has admitted that there are few better feelings then defeating Liverpool at Anfield.

The Red Devils achieved that feat for the first time since 2007 earlier today thanks to goals from Rafael and Robin van Persie.

Speaking after the match, Evra revealed that the United dressing room was a happy place to be.

"It's unbelievable," the French international told MUTV. "To be fair, I always say one of the best sensations is when we win at Anfield.

"We've been coming here for four years [almost five years], a long time and I've not been seeing a dressing room like that with smiles on the faces after the game. I want to win against Liverpool.

"If I play badly or play well, I just want to win and that is what we did."

The victory lifted United up to second in the Premier League table.
