Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov reveals that looking at the Premier League table makes him "feel like s**t".

Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has revealed that looking at the Premier League table makes him "feel like s**t".

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side find themselves hovering two points above the relegation zone having only won two league games since April.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are flying high at the top of the table, leading champions Manchester City by three points with a game in hand.

Speaking in an interview with Betfair ahead of United's trip to Norwich City on Sunday, Berbatov said: "We all know where Manchester United are in the table at the moment, and let me tell you, nobody wants to see them there.

"It makes me feel like s***, it's not good and I don't think anybody wants to look at the table. I don't think anybody connected with the club will want to check the table at the moment.

"When you see a team with the calibre of Manchester United - one of the biggest clubs in the world - and you see where they are in the table it is crazy to think how times have changed. The players will know what position they are but I don't advise them to look at it because it isn't going to make them feel good."

United's demise this season has come primarily in front of goal, with the 4-0 win over Chelsea serving as the only time that the Red Devils have scored more than once in 20 games across all competitions.
