On-loan Manchester United midfielder Charni Ekangamene has said that he is "really excited" about making his debut for Carlisle United.
The 19-year-old joined the Cumbrians on a three-month deal from the Red Devils earlier this week.
"I see this as the next challenge in my career," Ekangamene told Carlisle's official club website. "I've been with United for three or four seasons and this is my first loan spell.
"It's something I am really excited about and I'm looking forward to what the next few months will hold for me. I have a really good feeling about it.
"Kav (Carlisle boss Graham Kavanagh) has spoken to me and he has told me that he has watched me play [for Man United's development side]. He has told me that this is different because what I do on the pitch really matters. Hopefully I will settle in quickly and help the team to get the points we need."
Ekangamene has been included in Carlisle's starting XI for this afternoon's League One clash at Bristol City.
