Kane Ferdinand has revealed his delight at scoring his first goal for Peterborough United in their 1-0 win over Blackpool on Saturday.
The 20-year-old midfielder has also admitted that he wants to follow in the footsteps of his famous cousins, Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand and Queens Park Rangers' Anton Ferdinand.
"It was great to get my first goal for the club but I don't think they'll make a big deal of it," Ferdinand told Sky Sports News.
"I might get a 'well done' text but I doubt it. I've always listened to their advice and tried to take tips off them.
"They have been top players and it's important to watch the best and add bits to your own game. Hopefully, one day I'll be playing on the big stage, too."
Ferdinand joined Peterborough from Southend United last summer.
