Kai Havertz will be looking to end a streak which recently entered its sixth year when he lines up for Chelsea against Manchester United on Thursday evening.

Chelsea forward Kai Havertz will be looking to end a streak which has lasted since 2016 when he lines up against Manchester United in the Premier League on Thursday evening.

The Blues make the trip to Old Trafford looking to strengthen their grip of third position, a win putting the club 10 points clear in the race for the Champions League places.

Up until Sunday when they defeated West Ham United, Chelsea had recently been abysmal at Stamford Bridge, but they travel to the North West on the back of an eight-game winning streak on their travels.

Furthermore, Havertz will be targeting a goal in the fourth away league fixture in succession, something which has not been done since Diego Costa achieved that feat between October and December 2016.

The Germany international has netted a total of four strikes during victories at Burnley, Norwich City and Southampton, helping take him to 13 goals for the campaign in all competitions.

However, Chelsea visit Old Trafford having not prevailed at the Theatre of Dreams since May 2013.
