Louis van Gaal is reportedly still at Manchester United's Carrington training complex amid suggestions that the Dutchman has been sacked as manager of the 20-time English champions.
Various reports on Monday morning have claimed that the 64-year-old has lost his job at Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho widely expected to be confirmed as the club's new head coach this week.
However, according to Manchester Evening News, Van Gaal has still not left the training complex and it is understood that the Dutchman's severance package is being thrashed out behind the scenes.
Assistant manager Ryan Giggs, however, has departed the training ground with his own future still up in the air.
Mourinho, meanwhile, was spotted in London on Monday morning and refused to answer questions surrounding his own future.
