Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly in communication with representatives of Roma's Paulo Dybala, with a release clause in the player's contract set to activate.

Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly amongst a host of Premier League sides offered the chance to sign Roma attacker Paulo Dybala in this summer's transfer window.

The Argentinian joined Jose Mourinho's side on a free transfer from Juventus last summer and has enjoyed a successful campaign so far, providing 17 goal contributions in Serie A and helping his team to the last four of the Europa League.

Since leaving Instituto in the summer of 2012, the 29-year-old has played his club football exclusively in Italy, however next season could see a change of scenery for the former Palermo man.

According to 90min, Manchester United and Chelsea are two of the English clubs that have been made aware of a release clause in Dybala's current Roma deal.

The report claims that the attacker will be available to Serie A teams for just over £17m and only a fraction above £10m for sides outside of Italy - a factor that has led to the player's representatives making a host of clubs aware of their client's situation.

It is said that Erik ten Hag's Red Devils, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur have all been alerted to Dybala's potential availability in the summer.

Despite the release clause being favourable for any buying club, the decision on whether a transfer takes places is said to be ultimately down to Dybala.
