Manchester United allegedly identify two potential candidates as they look to appoint a technical director in the near future.

Manchester United have reportedly made progress in their search for a new technical director.

With the club identifying that changes need to be made to their transfer policy, they intend to add a technical director to their recruitment team ahead of the summer window.

While a number of names have been suggested, The Independent claims that Antero Henrique and Ralf Rangnick are at the top of United's shortlist.

Having recently left Paris Saint-Germain, Henrique is available and likely to be open to agreeing a deal with the Premier League giants.

Meanwhile, Rangnick currently occupies the role as Red Bull's head of sport, after recently being in charge of Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
