Jose Mourinho: 'Manchester United easier to manage than Chelsea

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes that Financial Fair Play rules make Manchester United an easier club to manage.

Jose Mourinho has claimed that Manchester United are an easier club to manage than Chelsea ahead of his side's Premier League clash with Louis van Gaal's team.

The league leaders host the third-placed United at Stamford Bridge tomorrow, when Chelsea will have a chance to move 10 points clear at the top of the table.

The manager said at his pre-match press conference: "Yes, it's easier. It was easier before at Chelsea, but it's more fun like this. More difficult of course. We sold a lot of players, not just Juan [Mata, who now plays for United]."

United bought Mata from Chelsea for a then-club record fee, but have since broken the British transfer record to sign Angel di Maria.
