Everton manager David Moyes is adamant that his side have no special plans in place for Manchester United striker Robin van Persie.

David Moyes has insisted that his Everton side are not making special plans for Robin van Persie this evening.

Dutch striker Van Persie will start on the bench for Manchester United, having recently signed from Premier League rivals Arsenal.

However, despite all the talk surrounding the 29-year-old, Moyes is adamant that his side will not be going out of their way to stop van Persie, should he get on the pitch.

"People are talking about him a lot. I think they've forgotten Everton are in this game! He's another fantastic Manchester United player but we haven't talked about him too much," he told Sky Sports News.
