David Moyes: Danny Welbeck has "a sore knee"

David Moyes reveals that Danny Welbeck suffered a knee injury during Manchester United's 3-1 home win against West Ham United.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed that Danny Welbeck suffered a knee injury during his side's victory over West Ham United on Saturday.

The striker opened the scoring in their Premier League encounter at Old Trafford on 26 minutes but limped off nine minutes into the second half.

"I've not actually had a chance to ask him yet," The Metro quotes the Scot as saying after the game.

"He has come off with a sore knee so I'll need to check it to find out exactly what it was."

Adnan Januzaj and Ashley Young were the other scorers in United's 3-1 win.
