Team News: Wayne Rooney starts for Manchester United

Wayne Rooney returns for Manchester United as they take on West Ham United in the Premier League this afternoon.

Manchester United have received a welcome boost ahead of their clash with West Ham United this afternoon, with Wayne Rooney returning to lead his side's attacking line.

Rooney is supported by Danny Welbeck up front, while Antonio Valencia and Adnan Januzaj will be looking to provide a threat from out wide.

David Moyes has decided to stick with his central midfield pairing of Phil Jones and Tom Cleverley, with Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling occupying the central defensive positions.

The visitors have kept their faith in goalkeeper Adrian after his impressive performance against Tottenham Hotspur in midweek, while promising striker Ravel Morrison is partnered by Modibo Maiga in attack.

Manchester United: De Gea; Rafael, Evra, Evans, Smalling, Januzaj, Valencia, Jones, Cleverley, Rooney, Welbeck

West Ham United: Adrian; Demel, Tomkins, Collins, McCartney, Noble, Morrison, Taylor, Jarvis, Maiga, Diame
